Near the Disney / ABC studio buildings and the small local Buena Vista Park, Los Angeles River Painting 26 depicts a bucolic early-morning sunrise before the busy City of Angels awakens. Here the river still maintains its shear vertical walls and solid concrete bottom. Several miles to the east, where the river begins a gradual turn south, the vertical sides will give way to more accessible sloped walls and a natural sandy floor. .
